David Lira, who left Girardi Keese in mid-2020, now works at Los Angeles-based Engstrom, Lipscomb & Lack.
Lira worked with Girardi on cases against Boeing over the 2018 crash of Lion Air Flight 610, in which $2 million in settlement funds went missing.
In 2021, Lira faced an evidentiary hearing involving the missing Lion Air settlement funds, but a federal judge declined to sanction him.
